Motherhood

This is my first adventure into blogging and what is on my mind most right now is being a mom. My son is 17, entering his Senior year in High School and getting ready to apply to colleges and all of the fun adventures that Senior year brings. I find it amazing that 17 (almost 18) years have passed already. It seems like just yesterday he was starting Kindergarten or even Pre-School. I am a bit anxious about what life as an empty nester will hold, so I am trying to focus on each moment that we have to share, to live in the now and not the future. I am blessed to have a close relationship with my son. It is all God's gift, that is for sure and I am so thankful that he still wants to tell me what is going on and still is not ashamed to say he loves me or give me a hug in front of his friends.
